Several questions about Jacobs ladder

Hi! I recently obtained perfect town and I have two questions. 1) do jacob ladders breed? (I have three next to each other but no reproduction is taking place). 2) how much would it cost to buy jacob ladders from others in terms of bells. Thank you!

I'm pretty sure they do not breed nor cross breed. and they appear randomly, so they cost a fair amount of bells.

You can't breed them. They are just merely for looks and to show off you have a perfect town. I believe they will only sprout near cliff edges and it's random. You can go several days without one growing.

I keep patterns all over my town, but as long as I kept fifteen or so open spots next to cliff sides, I got a Jacob's Ladder once a day, seven days in a row. (Lost my perfect town rating after chopping down all my trees to make them uniform) Personally, I don't like them, because they do not breed. I gave two of them away to someone who complained that theirs were stolen. But they ARE kinda like a trophy proving a perfect town rating. As long as you didn't buy it from someone else... -_-'
