Who knows. There's not much left to September, and so far that's been the only surprise, so if they're all a bunch of jerks then I guess it's possible.

Actually, it was even less than two weeks... but you're absolutely right. They're known to lie a lot, so I stopped believing them a while ago.

I was just think about this today and I think the Sept Surprise will come on Oct 1st....namely the NEO GEO. Either that or on Friday they will cancel the VC like they did Nsider.

The people who said they never heard of it, didn't lie. They actually never heard of it. Obviously not everyone in Nintendo knows everything that goes on and the people who said that were not informed because they weren't suppose to be.

The people who said they never heard of it, didn't lie. They actually never heard of it. Obviously not everyone in Nintendo knows everything that goes on and the people who said that were not informed because they weren't suppose to be.

Actually that's the PR and Rep group that didn't know about it, obviously the Tree House knew what it was.

So not to be a defeatist or anything because I understand the impact of us actually getting a crack at import games, but is this it? Two imports? That's the September surprise? I guess I was expecting the Neo-Geo or some North America only material or ..... something. I don't know I guess I just feel a little deflated.

Actually, from the hints that had been dropped by Nintendo earlier, I don't actually believe that the "September Surprise" ever came...

Most likely it was Link's Crossbow. Even though there were a couple of other things that could be considered the surprise, this was probably it. Too bad it was a sucky surprise.
