Raymond had thought bubbles and i was gonna tell him not to leave, right? i went to talk to him and he COMPLETELY forgot he wanted to leave or give me a present, whatever he wanted to do. what just happened? i'm so lost. I've seen that it's due to a full inventory, but my inventory is completely empty..

Did he literally say that he forgot what he wanted to talk about? That’s just a little flavor thing that they’ll do every once in a while. Unless you’re in your moveout window (which is 15 days after the last villager moved out) no one will ask to move out, even with a thought bubble.

Yeah, that just sounds like a little flavor thing.
If you’re worried about moveouts and want to interact with a villager with a thought bubble but don’t want to reset just hit them with a net. It won’t hurt your friendship but it will remove the bubble (for the time being).
