Selling Gold Ore?

Hi all. How much will your villagers pay for gold ore at re-tail?

I've sold silver for a high 9,999 bells and regular ore for 7,999 but I've never tried selling gold since I've always used it to get the golden series. I've heard 12,999 from a few people but wasn't sure if that's official.

Just curious what the consensus is on the price of gold ore.

I have a feeling you might be right but it's a shame you can't sell gold for more than silver, if that's the case.

You might wanna post on the Retail forums and sell it to other players xD. Since you need gold nuggets to make golden furniture pieces, people (actual players) will pay more than what villagers would pay for the gold nugget, haha. Villagers always rip me off and take advantage of Mayors anyways... At least mine do xD

Oh, thanks for the advice! Perhaps I'll stock up on a bunch and sell them in bundles.

The villagers in my town never bought something higher a price than 9,999 bells, I don?t think it?s possible at all.

That seems to be the case. Thank you guys for your help! I'll try a few time to sell it above 9,999 but if not at least I know how other people have done it.
