Leaving aside the obvious concern about how new the member was and that the TBT Bells were never on display, I could actually believe such an amount being donated by a stranger (unlikely as such an event would be). After all, someone I did not know donated me 4,000 TBT Bells before simply for being 'the first person I thought of.'

It's not just the 'new member' factor, from my view. It's the fact that they never came back to this thread after leaving to take care of a health problem, and instead made a brand new thread to sell TBT again while not updating this one at all, even when there were multiple people waiting to hear back from them.

That's why I posted here asking them about it.

No dispute from me. Yes, I was not holding my breath about the 2,000 TBT Bells showing up, and was not in the least surprised to see the new topic offering only 100 TBT Bells.

Next time it would probably be best to just report threads such as this that seem suspicious or like they might be a mistake rather than posting and keeping them bumped up on the first page. Doing so just clutters the forum with unnecessary threads that need to be closed. Thank you to those that did report it and moved on.
