From my understanding, you breed secondary red roses from orange and purple roses. But since there is a chance of two orange roses making a red rose, how can I breed secondary red roses making sure that they're all orange x purple (and therefore suitable for breeding blue roses)? Do I have to just put one orange rose with all purple roses surrounding it? Sorry I hope this actually makes sense, thank you in advance!

I think it'd be better to do the diamond like I had done. Like this

Leave a space in the middle between the two purple roses.

(I can just give you two blue roses though if you need it ;P)

I followed The Forbidden Roses youtube. Set the orange and purple roses like the video. X is the spaces.

Picked up any red roses that grew in the open spots. You can never be sure if the red rose is a special one.
The game or a villager could plant a regular red rose. I had 40 plus maybe special red roses before I got one.

Okay, thank you both! So as long as the two orange roses arent next to eachother, they cant breed together? Or they still can, but 'maybe secondary red roses' are just one of those things when it comes to breeding blue roses?

And thanks Envelin, but I dont have wifi at the minute so I cant! Plus I've never successfully bred blue roses before so it'd be interesting to see if I actually succeed! Thanks anyway though!
