Second character question

I wouldn't say they talk about the second character all the time, but yeah, they do a good amount. It's not too bad if the other character is actively played, because you'll get to hear interesting things sometimes. Like if the villagers ask you what your favorite food is and you tell them, then the second character will end up hearing about that at some point.
Yea, I think it's lessened personally. I have 3 extra characters in addition to my main. I probably get 1 comment a day from 1 villager about 1 of them lol (but maybe dialgue rng is on my side?).
I feel like the comments about random visitors to your town is more constant. Which is why it's kind of annoying that they comment about anyone that visits even if they haven't talked to them.

Honestly, I'd far rather hear "Did you hear that (second character) was breaking a lot of tools yesterday?" or similar things once or twice a day than hearing about Bunny Day eggs for the millionth time a day.
