Season of Gar?

Well, I caught a gar few days ago, but it was a request of Broffina, and it was my first gar. Now I want to caught another one to the museum, but the wikia says that his season ends in september. Now, there is any way to caught a gar right now without use TT? Or I'll have to wait until the next year?
