I really want the balloon series for my house. I like the toy shop look. I'm willing to pay 100,000 bells, I have the floor and wall already, so I don't need those, but everything else I need

Yeah ... after playing ACNL for a while you kinda just let the balloons pass over.

Not a fan of balloon series furniture but I do have a room full of it in one of my towns ... if you want it I will look and see where it is and you can have it for free ... I want to re-do that room anyway.

I think they only appear when the last digit of the time ends in a 4 (like 1:04, 1:14, 1:24...). I don't know if they appear every ten minutes though.

Thonky's fact guide says this:

"In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, balloon presents appear when the ones digit of the minute is 4. Here are examples: 10:04, 10:14, 10:24, 10:34, 10:44, 10:54."

It also seems you will be able to pop 6 balloons every hour (that's 144 per day). I've popped quite a few within within an hour so that seems accurate.
