Scorpions in September?

My game is set to September right now and I've read online apparently you can catch scorpions in September but so far I've had no luck. I've run around for many hours on different days trying to catch one but I never see them. I saw multiple scorpions in august but I never managed to catch them.

Are they just rarer in September? Or even available at all in September? I know they're one of the rarest bugs in the game but I can't seem to ever spot one let alone catch them.

I don't think there's anything in the game that says "Scorpions spawn less in September", but it might be that there are more types bugs that spawn alongside the scorpion in September that make it harder for the scorpion to "get a spot"?

idk exactly what the evening spawns are for august... i think lantern flies and oak silk moths? but i think a lot of crickets start showing up in september, and those are considered common... So the odds might be weighted against spawning a scorpion more in September
