It would be the most fantastic thing to be able to wear the same clothes as everyone else and not stick out with my 5850785607860 black hoodies

yes, i loved my uniform and it meant not having to pick out clothes (most of my clothes would have been deemed far too inappropriate for school, i like very very very short skirts) and it also meant nobody was looked down upon for not having designer clothing, which would have been a big problem in my school as there were a lot of very affluent students

I went to a Catholic elementary school and didn't really mind the uniforms. Our colors were navy, olive green, and white, and we could choose from pants, shorts, skirts, jumpers, long/short sleeves and turtlenecks. The skirts and jumpers were a plaid using our school colors and the rest were all solid colors. Even had matching plaid scrunchies! My mom loved it because I didn't ruin all of my regular clothes right away.

I think they made it easier for us to all connect... one less thing to separate us. Although if I had been any older I would have thrown a fit.

It's so much easier. At first I thought I was going to hate it, but I came to love it. Dressing time went from 10 minutes to 4 minutes with my uniform. Bless.

When I was in high school, I had to wear a uniform. It was nice not to worry about what to wear every morning and they were quite comfortable too. We had many uniform pieces to pick from, so it wasn't bad at all! I'd have the option of blouses, hoodies, sweaters, long sleeve shirts, polos, shorts, skirts and pants. Most in grey, navy or white with red accents.

If the school uniforms look like those cute ones in shojo anime then yeah.. those uniforms are too cute. x(

Did I like school uniforms? No. When I was in school I hated school uniforms and couldn't wait to get out of it at the end of the day. I've never been a fan of formal clothing though. Even now, I'll refuse to wear formal clothing unless I really have to just because I find it so uncomfortable.
My parents also despised them as well since they had to buy a specific set of clothes just for school and since they couldn't afford loads of pants and shirts, it meant they had to wash them a few times a week rather than just once a week in 'the big wash'. Not to mention you could only get the tie and blazer from a specific store and they charged way too much for them.

The idea of uniforms though? I fully support that and always have. It's one less things that kids can potentially start bullying and discriminating each other about since it's hard to do that when you're all wearing the same thing. Kids being kids though they would still find something to bully people for such as shoes, bags and coats which weren't standardized uniform (I don't know if that's changed in 9 years or not).
I guess you can still get bullied for the 'state' of your uniform, though that's very much your own fault for not looking after it or washing it.

I think it's a good thing (unless the clothes are the ugly ugliness of death :D).
One wouldn't have to spend that much time choosing what to wear and I and several others wouldn't seem so out of place between all the students with extremely rich parents and Louis Vuitton handbags...
My school doesn't have it though. The principal said it was too old-fashioned and we might look like Nazis ?.?

I'd love that, as long as there were a lot of options. And maybe if our school colors changed, too.

I don't like uniforms because I rather not look like everyone else. I like to express myself through clothes and uniforms would ruin that.

I had to wear them when I went to Catholic school for 5 years and we had to wear the same thing everyday. Black shoes, white polos, and khakis for middle schoolers+ and Light blue polos and navy pants for elementary. Depends on the uniform honestly, I'm ok with Black pants/khakis+white shirts, but anything else I wouldn't be able to stand.

I went to Catholic school for elementary and middle school. We had the navy/green plaid dresses but once you got to middle school they gave us the privilege to wear white blouses and plaid skirts. Our jackets were blue track jackets with a panda bear on the back. (School got to vote for a new mascot and panda bears won lol) Guys wore white collared shirts and navy slacks. On PE days we had white polos and navy shorts/pants.

Personally I was glad we had uniforms cause it took my parents a while to get settled. Most of my regular clothes were hand me downs or from yard sales, so being a kid, it felt really embarrassing to wear clothes that only sometimes fit.

But I also liked the uniforms. Didn't have to put much thought into it just had to make sure they stayed clean. Got to see people for their personalities more than what they looked like. Instead of being made fun of for my clothes, I just had to worry about being made fun of for being a tomboy or a nerd. Lolz

I don't think school uniforms are good because you cant express yourself and you can't be free to wear your new favourite pink outfit or anything
On the other hand...
Having uniforms is good because you don't have to pick out clothes everyday and you can just add pink sparkles to your uniform obvi.

im not a big fan of uniforms, as it kinda confines individuality but i think they're totally convenient and makes it easier in the mornings haha
