I got up and hugged my books close to my chest, protecting them. Timidly walking over to one of the local libraries, I entered and went to the furthest corners and began reading, as well as studying.
Riley went over to James' house, knocked on the door, went to his room, and put a one hundred thousand dollar check next to him. "Is this what you needed? This should cover the field trip funds to Japan. Let's just say I got a new world record for someone's vomit." Riley said to him. He pulled out the newest guiness world record book from his backpack, and showed his name under one of the sections to James. He put the book back and waited for Jame's response, adjusting his glasses. "Also, I've studied plenty of Japanese." He added (My character has, not me irl. Irl I'm in Spanish 4).
[James]
I packed a translation book, a key guide book, a map, books, clothes, and everything I needed. I did all the research and it came to a week for the club. Of course I brought money to convert it all into ?. I ran directly to the station and I couldn't stand up; this was exciting!
"Hmm... O kotowari shimasu... 'I decline'. Hai gozaimasu... 'Yes, I have it'. All this Japanese freaks me out!!"

[James]

[Tori]
My sleep was disturbed by Riley and I glared at him. "Let me sleep, just this once." I mumbled and then fell asleep again, dreaming of what I might do in Japan.
It came time for the group to depart. Riley glanced at Tori, noticing she was still asleep. He picked her up after not being able to wake her, put her on one of the seats and put a blanket around her. Then he went to the seat across from her and sat down. The group departed at last.
[Josephine] This is the first time I have ever been in a plane! Should I be afraid? Happy? Depressed? I don't know! Maybe I should act calm like Melody is right now...
Trapped in a series of thoughts, I found myself being shook by Riley, as I was sitting next to him. I snap out of the trance and look at Riley with eyes full of fear. He tilted his head in curiosity.
"Sorry, Riley. I have never been in a plane before," I said truthfully, running my fingers through my surprisingly soft hair.
[Melody]
I got headphones and watched Spirited Away for a while. Then I checked the time and began writing in a notebook. Japan Trip (insert whatever date it is here)
We're finally going to Japan! I'm so excited! I can't wait to see all the Japanese art and music.
"Now gather around everyone!" Mrs. Henderson spoke. Mrs. Henderson began to pass out maps to each of the club members. "I have marked these maps with places that we should visit! If anyone should wander off, you should go to one of these places. Oh and we need to use the buddy system so everyone team up so that you have a partner the whole time we are here." The students looked in awe at the maps. There were museums marked, parks, and even a place where they could see a live Pop band. Gift shops, libraries, and restaurants too.
"Oh and we will be staying that this Inn marked by the star on the map. Please return to the Inn by 8pm if you have wandered off with your partner. Now who's up for some cultural Japanese cuisine?"
