If anyone needs help with Japanese ever, I'm a decent level. Pretty much useless at anything else right now though, lol. I'm only in Japanese, beginning Chinese, required English, and an acting class right now.
We're reading the Iliad in English, though, and I hate it. I hate it so much. I have 4 books of it (about 100 pages) to read before class tonight, and then an assignment with it, and I'm just so tired of it. It's just war and savagery, and it's really boring.

Taking honors, 4 A's, 3 C's. It's only the First Term though, it can be raised...
I am pretty stressed about my junior year in high school; I really have no idea what I'm doing, I have 4 AP (college credit classes) classes (which amounts to about 400 dollars to take all 4 tests); so obviously those are pretty difficult and mostly book based and I am absolutely terrible at book based classes. And not only that but I also have to worry about making the soccer team because everyone thinks I'm going to make varsity but I really don't think so and I'm having this huuge internal struggle about whether or not I even WANT to be on varsity in the first place and gaaah man. I just don't know anything. And this is the most important year because of college applications and such.

No...wait, we only have one fundraiser a year too...oh god...
School has been quite the workload this year already, but it's manageable for me as of right now, but once things get a little bit busier I'm not too sure how things will go. Junior year is definitely a step up though from the previous years, a lot more responsibilities are loaded on you this year. There is also a lot more pressure this year, as you have to maintain a balance in everything for colleges to recognize you... Why did high school have to get so competitive over these past years? :/

Bwahh my day was pretty good today but i'm pretty stressed about tommorow ヽ(；▽；)ノ its the pre-season of robotics club, so right now we're fundraising because the school doesn't give us any funds because we're not a sports team. So tomorrow with a couple of other kids i have to go to 3 businesses to ask for sponsorships. Except i have no idea how to do that ;u; but first things first, we have to find an actual RIDE to get there XD hopefully our ride says yes or we're kinda stuck.

School finally starts on Monday. I'm relieved because the strike's finally over(although the teachers aren't happy with their deal), but I'm also so nervous because I don't know how things are going to play out!
We haven't been able to finish actually registering me as a student because you have to give files to the school, but there weren't any people at the school because everyone was on strike, so we'd have to register me on the first day but if classes start on that day then I'll already start to fall behind because I won't be signed up for any classes! Not to mention the teachers are probably not going to be ready either because school's starting on such short notice!
Also I live 7 kilometres away from the school and I'm not registered for a bus

Ugh, I have this project about packaging and I'll probably do it last-second. I did it like twice before, but wasn't happy with the finished product and just threw it. I just hope I'll have a nice one by when I have to submit it.

I am in university (I don't know if this is the appropriate place to post) taking courses in psychology and right now. Sensation & Perception I am finding REALLY challenging. I went to my GA (Graduate Assistant) for help deciphering diagrams in a chapter on the visual system because I find it just so baffling. Especially dark adaptation. You know how if you go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, and then go back to bed, you can't see anything and you trip over something WHY that is the case neurologically and the whole process of a stimulus like a tree, having light reflected off it, into the eye, to late be transducted into neural impulses that send messages into the brain - it gets REALLY complicated. But we get to learn about optical illusions and why they fool us, which is neat.

We had our first fire drill in school today. I was in science, behind the door, and it shut and the sirens started going nuts. For some reason we all huddled out in a driveway to the school, which doesn't make sense considering that's where the fire truck would be if there was real fire.
