Savings account prizes

For example, if i had a million bells in my account and wanted to get the prize for it, would i have to keep the money in the account overnight (past midnight? Or past 6am?), or would the money just have to be in there for a couple of minutes? Thanks!

When I deposited 10mil bells, as soon as I deposited it, I went to my house, and the reward was there... Isn't it instant? It was instant for me... I got the price at around 3 PM so it wasn't anywhere near the time where you get mail delivered.
