My switch is pretty much done for it now, its over heating, its glitchy, it's got a green line.. I gotta do some serious moving of the villagers to my lite. But I spent hours making this path, and I want to keep it?

But how do you save custome designs? I'm honestly not even sure if it still works, I haven't touched it because it over heats if I turn it on. But if it does, how do I save them?

If they have creator code IDs you can use those. You ofc can't redesign them and you have to have an online membership.

Idk if this is a possibility, but instead of just transferring villagers, you can transfer the data to the new Switch, so everyhtin will carry over.

The only other option I can think of is that you'd have to manually recreate each design. Maybe taking a pic so you have a reference to look on as you remake them.

Taking a picture is a pretty good idea!
