save file backup?

hi all! i've been playing wild world (not the same file, i wish so much that i never wiped my old town due to weeds) and i'm seeing lots of people talking about their save file deleting? I'm now super scared of that happening and wondering how i could back up my save to an sd card or my computer or something. ty!!

I’m not sure but u should be able to
I’ve had my town say “could no retrieve came data please turn the power off and reinsert the memory card” but that is simple
Sometimes instead of that it’ll just say “new save file” it’s just same thing except it doesn’t tell you. If this happens DO NOT PRESS NEW SAVE FILE or it’ll delete ur save data
About corruptions, when ur game corrupts try just reinserting game card and turning off power. If not work post a message here or ask Nintendo
In some games when it’s saving your town data will just disappear. I don’t know about that though. And I don’t know if it’s fixable
