Hey all!

Just found my first sapphire!

So I read that you can combine it with blue furniture and I was wondering if anyone wants to share screenshots of their sapphire furniture?

I just restarted and I don't have any sapphires.
I had some on my former town, but I sold all of my gems since I only remade one thing. :/
I'm surprised no one has replied to this thread. I think sapphires are one of the prettiest gems out there, mainly because I like the blue color. Wouldn't you think more people would remake furniture with them?

You talk to Cyrus and bring furniture into the shop. If you have enough gems, he will refurbish the furniture into a completely different color. c:

Gems are nice! Sapphires along w/ other gems like rubies can customize the color of particular furniture- they look great! Cyrus just req. a small amount of Bells, the items for the redesign, & 1/2 an hour! (=

not all furniture requires gems though...so far I have only used the gold ones to get gold furniture. I need to try the gems at some point on the furniture they work with but for now I am just stockpiling them

Will it work on ANY furniture item, or does it have to be a specific combination?

A Gold Nugget can be used with Cabana furniture, Chess Pieces, Apple furniture, Dharmas, Claw-Foot Tub, Executive Toy, Plate Armor, Racoon Figurine, Shogi Piece, Toilet, Super Toilet, and Piggy Bank.
3 Gold Nuggets and 10,000 Bells can be brought to Cyrus to make a random piece from the Golden series.
A Silver nugget can be used with the Apple furniture, Claw-Foot Tub, Executive Toy, Toilet, and Super Toilet.
A Ruby can be used with Lovely and Apple furniture.
An Emerald can be used with Green and Apple furniture.
A Sapphire can be used with Blue furniture.
Any gem, including Amethyst, can be applied to Modern furniture, Polka Dot furniture, and the Piggy Bank.

so aside from Modern and Polka Dot, its specific for each gem

Blue furniture will only use sapphires (if going by gems). Green furniture can be customized with emeralds. I'm not sure, but I think lovely may be able to be customized with rubies (I've not tried it, so that is definitely up for experiment).

I've done three Lovely pieces in ruby. I like the sparkle.

I'm planning to do that myself once I get the entire set of Lovely furniture. I also plan to make the Blue series into sapphire and the Green series into a dark emerald green. Not sure what I'll use the purple gems for, though... Having a gemstone filled house would be pretty cool.
