Sanrio Villagers moving in?

I've seen them in people's towns but when I scanned ?toile it didn't give me the option to move her in.. why is this?!

You invite them via Wisp or by going into their RV's...
At least that's what I've seen... :3

Hi Buuunii, glad to see you're enjoying Etoile, sadly, the RV characters can only be invited into your RV camp. They cannot live in your actual town. I really wish we could invite them to live in our towns though, that would be lovely. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

??? that's only for NPC characters such as isabelle, celeste, lottie, etc. villagers from the sanrio set, summoned by non acnl amiibo (felyne, w. link, cece, viche, etc) and villagers from the card series can be moved into your town.

i have etoile, chelsea, chai and marty in my town and i enjoy having all of them however etoile is my favourite; enjoy!

Also if you scanned her on a holiday like toy day..you also can't move her in.

All of the regular characters can move into your town with an actual house? I haven't had a chance to play much of the update yet, but it was my understanding that they would not be able to move into your actual town, only via RVs.

I just looked up the information. My apologies for giving out incorrect information in my previous message. I was ill for a few weeks after the update came out, and I haven't had a good chance to sit down and play. I completely misunderstood something I had read before we had access to the cards and thought it implied that no new villagers could move into your town. Sorry if I led anyone astray. XD
