Sanrio sets and the HHA?

So I filled two rooms in my house, three sets to a room with one of the set's wallpaper and floors up. I assumed that since most of these sets were complete that'd I'd get some points. Yet my point system went down!!

Was the balloon theme worth so many points that selling it all could take me down? Or are there are other factors going into it? It's been a day so I know the sanrio sets were all taken into account. Is there any surefire way to get to that 150,000 points without having to worry about these silly sets not being counted?

I remember in my old town before the Welcome Amiibo update, I used to have 2 complete sets (matching wallpapers and floors worth more points than two separate wallpapers and floors that match with the furnitures) and items in the room matches the theme of those furniture sets (even the sets have matching themes). An example is Cabin series and Modern Wood series (both sharing Rustic interior theme) with the cabin wallpaper and flooring as the core furnitures and other furnitures that complement the room all must have the Rustic interior theme (you get points for following one interior theme in that room). After completing the 2nd floor, main room, back room and right room, I reached 150,000 easily.

Note: The basement does not get evaluate so you can do whatever you want with it

What I'm not sure about is if the Welcome Amiiboo furnitures give you the same amount of points as normal in-game furnitures. I know the Sanrio RV items have the fairytale theme but most RV furnitures have the unknown or no theme. Best of luck at reaching 150,000 points! I am focusing on creating a house I like that's why I'm ignoring the HHA lol.
