Same items in Nook's shop

This irritates me to no end. The convenience shop has the SAME furniture day in and day out! It's like it's on a constant loop, I can't remember the last time I saw anything new. As someone who's had in incomplete themed house for almost a year now this is getting extremely frustrating. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? I really don't want to have to go on here and try to buy the items I want.

Yes. I think it depends on what animals you have in your town, Like, you have to cycle through to get more stuff. I didn't have anything from the sloppy series until Hamlet moved in. Then I got the stereo I've bee after for almost a year when he put it up for sale! ^^

Yes I had problems trying to get the finally pieces for some rooms. I just started another new town and while buying out the store I noticed that the items were repeats. The villagers can be helpful if you do task for them. One week they kept giving me Regal items. The next week it was Astro stuff.

All the villagers have a full inventory. You can get sloppy/cardboard items from all the villagers. Tutu in my main town put a sloppy clock in her house. She was one of my starter villagers so it didn't come from another player.
I have a spare town where I clear out retail and all the villagers have put sloppy and cardboard there. They also put the sloppy rug/wall.

I know the feeling. But after reading this it makes sense about cycling villagers to get more items in the shop because when I had all of my dreamies obtained that's when I kept seeing the same things and had to go on here as well. But I kinda like going to here to shop because I feel like you can get more rare items!!

well why not? it's a lot of fun, and you'll make progress on your visiting/hosting badges. another option, is to get streetpasses fo your HHS showcase-- you can order the items you find there (assuming they aren't non-orderables like Gracie Grace items for instance...)

I can't help with the shop selection, but I'm going to second King Dad's suggestion. Be cautious if you must, but there are great people out there to trade with. Make a wish list! Post it and ask for help. Look at what other people need and offer to lend them a hand at the same time. Finishing your theme will be that much more fun when you can celebrate it with new friends. And helping them reach their goals along the way feels great too.

Yeah, this has really irritated me quite a bit. Different villagers will have different items they'll sell, so unless you cycle a lot, you'll end up with the same stuff in an infinite loop. But, as King Dad said, it's a lot more fun to make a wishlist and buy it from other members from here, or to order it from streetpassed houses.
