Same account on 2 switches

Hi all, AC newbie here, got 2 switches with same Nintendo Online account, normal switch and a lite. How though do I save progress to same point over both as I appear to have 2 totally different saves? Thanks in advance

Its not possible to share the same island/ character across 2 switches at the same time.

But on the plus side you get to have a whole second island to play on!

Yeah no way around it I'm afraid
But I do recommend that for your second switch you make the island on a different account or else playing with yourself can get complicated. Unsure if it would affect dream addresses and save back ups as well.
