Sailor Moon Town

so my new town for the OYC is going to be loosely based on sailor moon, but i'm not quite sure how i should decorate it yet!

should i have it kind of pastel themed, or a modern town like tokyo? my main town is a natural forest town, so either of these would be new for me! i want to figure this out so i can decide on paths and my dreamies!

modern like tokyo would be more interesting but animal crossing haven't really the right pwps for it to look right imho
I think a fairytale (moon kindgom themed) town is easier
with most blue and white plus a hint of pink (but just a hint)
you could do a moon palace with each room themed for a different sailor

I agree with GreenLeaf. If I was doing a Sailor Moon themed town, I'd probably try to make it look like the Moon Kingdom. If you try to make it look like Tokyo, it'll look like a generic city.

the moon palace is a really nice idea!! my mayor is luna and my second character so far is artemis, then i can have serenity and endymion for my other characters!!

The moon kingdom idea would be really pretty, esp if you had it during cherry blossoms at night or when there's an aurora imo
Mira would be a really cute villager too!! I have her in my town bc she reminds me of sailor Venus haha

I think it would be neat to try a modern city, I also like seeing them and they seem so rare. I've considered making one for a long time but I don't know what theme beyond "city" I could do so I've never attempted it. I just think it's be neat to use all the street signs and lights and stuff finally.
