Safe Time Travelling

Recently, I started a new game on the date of June 9th, when New Leaf came out, because I thought it would feel more original if I started the game on the release date. However, now that all my villagers have moved in and I want to start making natural paths, I gotta time travel faar into da future. 2 years and a few months!

Is there a way I can safely time travel this far without losing any of my villagers? If so, let me know! I gotta get from June 2013 to November 2015.

how many villagers do you have? they say when you start getting villager pings to move out, that if you deny the move-out request, you can then save and quit, and you will be able to time travel as far into the future as you want with no interim move-outs. i've tried this method successfully, but only for a few weeks at a time...

(also, you would want the beautiful town ordinance in effect first too...)

Do make sure you have the beautiful town ordinance.

TT one day at a time and check all your villagers to make sure you don't miss a ping. Once someone pings and asks to move away, tell them no, then save and quit. Then you can skip to present day but make sure you do it all in one go. I've done this several times and it works fine. c:

By safely, do you mean not losing any villagers? That's easy. When a villager pings you to move tell them to not move. from that very day you can time travel as far as you want in one go without anyone moving.

If you mean no weeds, no bedhead, your natural paths won't disappear, no one will have forgotten you etc, for the first two things you'll have to enable the beautiful town ordiance. the second two you can't really do anything about, you just have to work your way back ;;

Thanks everyone, it worked! I'm not safely in November 2015 with all my guys living comfy in Rosseau. Only problem is the bedhead... but that can be easily fixed.
