Safari Game strategy?

You do realize it's luck of the draw? It all happens in random order, no set way to catch them. You catch one Tangela one way, then the other another way. It's just random and luck. you have a 50-50% chance of catching it.

Yeah, for me, Yanma flee pretty quickly, same with Tangela and Tangrowth.

Wooper is always really easy to catch. I can usually catch it on the first ball thrown.

Bibarel is a pain, you have to throw tons of mud and bait before you can throw a ball.

Quagsire isn't too hard. Usually it only takes a bait, then a ball.

Wooper is the Oddish of Platinum.

Only played like 1 or 2 of the game boy games so I don't know what you mean by "Wooper is the Oddish of Platinum"

In Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Saphire, Emerald, etc, ddish were the most common pokemon you could get. They began to get annoying, because they were everything in the Safari Zone.
