Well, it was finally time for me to say goodbye to Rolf. He was the last remaining villager of my original 5, so saying goodbye to him wasn't an easy thing to do. I knew that I'd have to cycle him out some time in the future, but I still can't comprehend that he's gone, despite him not being a dreamie of mine. at all. So, I'm posting this thread to hear the saddest villager move-out stories of some other people, hoping to fill that void in my heart (ok, that's an exaggeration, but still)

Sorry Roff moved.
Muffy was my first villager that I had to move out due to bridge placement. It was before the update and Isabelle refused to place the bridge. It took me a long time to get over her move. Found myself going to the spot to visit her and she wasn't there. After the bridge got placed I put the windmill with flowers/shrubs in her old spot. When Happy Home Designer was released her house got designed right away. It's nice that I can visit her there.
I have a casual town with a few sheep and hope to add Muffy soon.

Back in 2014 I had 2 really sad move-outs. Zucker and Rolf (coincidently).
Zucker moved out because of my reckless time traveling, and I remember going up to his house at about 5:56am. Of course he was asleep so I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye to him before he left. He randomly moved into my town a few days after I made it so he was really special to me. I got him again later from someone on here, but it just wasn't the same (but then my town went and corrupted anyways so it didn't really matter).
I think Rolf left for kinda the same reason, except I may have just gotten on one day and Isabelle told me he was leaving and I hadn't realized he wanted to move. But that was also sad because he was my favorite of my original villagers (also coincidence that he was one of my original 5).
I liked in City Folk where you could talk to a villager in boxes and convince then to stay right then and there instead of seeing your favorite villager packing up and you can't do jack squat about it. That's emotional abuse on Nintendo's part.

I remember being really sad that Bubbles moved out because she was one of my original 5 and we got along pretty well. I'm pretty sure she moved out when I was inactive. Over the years, I remember being said that Fauna and Lopez left, but we didn't have particularly high friendship in the first place, so oh well. Most recently (although probably 1-2 years ago) Beau moved while I was inactive, and I remember really liking him :[ Fortunately he moved into one of my friend's town, so I still get to see him here and there, and if he ever moves out, I could go get him from her :3
freakin' zucker and tabby. zucker... his sad eyes just killed me. he moved to my moms town but i reset out of anger one night and regretted it. also tabby left cause i told her it was okay since she kept asking, but i instantly felt like crying after she was gone bc she was my first best friend lmao

Vesta moving out was terrible, and it basically marked the beginning of my disinterest with my first town. To my knowledge she was voided without going anywhere, so that honestly made it even worse.
Lolly moving out also wasn't fun, but she ended up moving to someone else's town and they actually still have her today. So it wasn't as bad as losing Vesta.

in the very first new leaf town i had, Kidd was one of my villagers and he quickly grew on me. he was like my best friend lmao, but somewhere along the line i stopped playing for awhile. when i finally went to check up on ac again, Kidd had moved out during my absence. i was devastated : ( so much that i completely wiped the town in hopes i'd get him in my next one, which never happened.
When Pate moved out in my first New Leaf town, I was very upset and actually cried. It was the first unexpected move out I ever had and I was not prepared for that kind of thing. When I later got City Folk (Yeah, I got this after New Leaf), I told myself not to get upset over any move outs since I would be playing the game less often. It worked and I haven't cried over any of the move outs in City Folk. Not even Pate leaving again due to time travel.
I actually haven't had any other unexpected move outs in New Leaf yet. I've tried to be very careful.

Aw, man. Villager move-outs can be so disheartening :u. Before I started buying a lot of Amiibo cards, I had Shari in my town and I loved her. She?s the one I farmed Uchi PWPs off of, but it was always fun to have her around. Because I time travel, I accidentally pushed her to move-out unexpectedly and I was so freaking sad about it.
Eventually, I started buying my favorite villager Amiibo cards along with more RV cards and I feel better knowing that if one of my villagers moves from any of my towns, then I can move them back in right away (even though that relationship has to start over again).

Sprinkle. I fell in love with her but she moved to a crappy spot. Letting her go was hard but im gonna get her amiibo so I can move her back in.
