When trying to unlock the sewing machine, do you have to TT forward, or can you TT backwards day by day to prevent move-outs?

Gah...I hope somebody corrects me if I'm wrong, but I TT back a LOT and I could swear that you can speak to her each day. But I have several characters I use so it could be that, but I think each new day's "load up" from Isabelle sets Sable.

Again, if I'm wrong I hope somebody corrects me. But I THINK you can TT backwards and get the talks in.

Any amount Backwards that is not within the same day ((1 day, 1 week, 1 year)) counts as 1 day forward in the game.
So, TTing backwards does not save you from surprise move outs...
