I am perplexed by seeing people run up stairs, I have lived in a two story for almost 12 years and still I can't muster the courage to even try running up the stairs without stepping on each step.
How can people just FLY over a step or two and feel so confident they won't misstep...u n u; Perhaps this makes me a sissy?

How do you run up stairs? O:

Hahah this is a pretty funny topic :P
But I've lived in a two-story house since I was 6, so the same time you have, and I skip a step when I run up stairs. I have a gate set up on our stairs to keep our puppy from coming up so I have a certain amount of steps after that gate and when I skip a step, I make it the the very top step at the end.
I just never really think about how I'm running up the stairs, though.

i have fallen tho lolol

I usually just go one by one. I zip down the stairs anyway because I'm so used to two stories.

I think it's fun. Most of the time I'll walk or run up two but at times I'll run up through. I can also walk 4-5 and it seems to be more efficient (although strange) than walking one by one.

Dude I run up stairs EVERYDAY. N I never fall. (I also love running up hills of topic)

going up the stairs, i run up 2 at a time.
going down the stairs, i run down 2 at a time and jump over the last 5 or 6. it's fun :3
but also kinda really dangerous so

I've just had horrible luck with stairs.
I wasn't even in a rush just occupied with a phone call and I fell going UP the stairs.
I like hills, but rolling down them is much better....'cept when you get all itchy.

I have always feared stairs, especially the ones where there are gaps and they are usually at apartments, but also found in other creepy places.
I feel like my foot will slip between the gaps and some other terrible things will happen after that.

I think I might be afraid of stairs.
Though running down them isn't bad....

i'm the same way! but i'm really only scared of the stairs with gaps.
when i was at this camp with my mom a few years ago, breakfast was held in this building that you had to go up a flight of stairs (with gaps in them) to enter.
let's just say that i skipped breakfast for a few days.. :\

Gates on the stairs in my house equals me embarrassing myself, repeatedly.

I physically can't walk 1 step at a time. I find it so awkward and my legs just don't seem to want to move that little! Even when casually walking up the stairs I take it 2 steps at a time. I'm not even that tall, only 5'6"

Same here. It just feels unnatural...

I always run up 2 steps at a time - my legs somehow don't feel as tired if I go fast.

I pretty much just jump down four steps each.

One time I tripped on the stairs on my back. I couldn't talk for like 3 minutes until I got up and drank some water. And that was going up the stairs so don't ask me how I fell like that.

Haha I run and sometimes walk up the stairs by two!
It's faster, I get bored of doing just one at a time.
