Because of some stupid bet, I kinda have to buy my last 3DS game, and I'm really torn between these two. I've been wanting to buy RF4 since forever (I've only played one RF game before, though), but now that Tomodachi Life is released, I'm not sure what to get anymore. What do you guys think? Is RF4 worth it? Or is Tomodachi Life a better choice?

Definitely get Rune Factory 4. That game will keep you busy for a loooooong time. Tomodachi's novelty will wear off pretty quickly.

I'd go with RF4. There's much more variety to it rather than Tomodachi Life where you just spectate and the same the happens over and over again imo.

I love both games, but I haven't beat RF4 yet. Before making any decisions, get your hands on a Tomodachi Life demo code (I can offer one if you don't have a code) and watch RF4 videos. You should judge which seems better. I've also heard deciding by flipping a coin works best; Heads is RF4 and Tails is TL. Flip it, and if you really don't like the results and want to flip the coin again, you should probably work off of that and/or get the game that didn't come up.

I kind of stopped with RF4 because the style of grinding and stale relationships got a bit boring to me; it's just button smashing imo. To be honest it's really hard to say which of the two games is better just because of the different genres. I would get both if you really just can't decide.

I'd love to get a demo code, what would you like for it? :3 I think it'll help me figure out if I'd like the game or not >.< Is it like AC somehow?

Thank you all for your opinions, I think I'll try Tomodachi Life, if it didn't interest me much, I'll go for RF4 :D

I'll PM you the code :) I'd say it's KIND of like Animal Crossing, but you kind of take care of all the Miis. They refer to you as _____'s look-alike, but you control all of them. The game doesn't do much when you aren't playing, so that's much more different than Animal Crossing.
