Rune Factory 4 : fields question

So it's been a long time since I last played RF4 and I've just begun playing again. I managed to tame Thunderbolt (I'd forgotten I had been trying to grow Royal Carrots), so yay! Then the next day all my fields got destroyed because of a typhoon and when it was too late I went "wettable powder... right". So yeah, I'm slowly remembering things, LOL.

Anyway, I had a question about the fields you can have. Not counting the seasonal fields, that is. I keep reading you can have five fields and I have three (when you exit your room and then to the east and west). So my (probably silly) question is; where would the fourth and fifth fields be located? I can't find if they're separate fields or if they're actually expansions of the east and west ones. ^_^'

I have been playing RF4 lately too and have just finished expanding all of my fields (not my monster barns however, that takes forever!).. the two remaining fields will be connected to your others above the east & west fields (you can get to them from either the field below or the center one).

So the four other fields can be expanded as well? I'm pretty sure I expanded the center field (the one you go to when you exit your room), but I wasn't sure if the others could also be expanded. ^_^

i use the seasonal fields for crops that take a while to grow (30 days+) that belong in a specific season. so golden crops and the crystal flowers mainly

I haven't unlocked any of those yet. Currently I'm stuck on several of Elisa's requests (like the dungeons you need to grow) because apparently I'm not far enough in the second arc yet. x_x

ah you're fine then i didn't really start using the seasonal fields until a bit later in the game. i miss rf4 i'm tempted to pick it back up again! i never did complete elisa's requests now i think about it haha

They branch off of your center Farm.

This is a fully expanded farm with all 5 fields.
