Rumours question...

When I have 9-10 villagers in my town, I always talk to three of them until they get the thinking bubble to see if anyone is moving out.

Today, three have told me a rumour about Apollo being sick with a cold (yes I gave him medicine haha). Is it safe to assume that no one is moving out then?

Unfortunately, a villager can still be planning to move when another one is sick. Case in point: Stitches is currently sick and Apple pinged to move.

Now if you go around to everyone and no one pings, you are PROBABLY safe, but no guarantees.

you should research it, but im pretty sure the sick villager anyhow cant be thinking of moving...

It is possible someone is thinking of moving but overall the chances of a villager mentioning someone moving when someone's sick is very low since they would just repeat their saying of someones sick in bed. However the villager who is sick is never the one going to move, ofc. Which sucks if its the villager you hate.

I think there are sometimes when the sick villager will ping to move after they are fully healed. I remember someone made a joke about Coco being rude for pinging to move after they gave her medicine until she was all better. idk if that is what's happening to you but I would be safe for now, like no time travelling alot

villagers will still move even if another is sick. and no one will tell you about a moving rumor if a villager is sick.
