I shake my head, but then stop. I have a flashback of Father, sitting in a dark room with potions all around, using some staff to bounce dark rays and light rays. I gasp, rushing back to earth. "Yes. Father had some sort of magic, in fact now that I think about it, I think that he put some sort of magic in my sword." I look down, and sure enough my samurai sword is glowing. Not the usual yellow glow, though. It's glowing red, and the handle is black. I run my thumb over the edge ever so slightly, and I curse. "It's never that sharp..." I mumble, sucking on my cut thumb.

"Good. Both of these are human blood." I said, reaching over, I pricked my finger, putting the blood next to the other ones, mine appearing darker.
I curse. "How the hell is that good?!" I angrily run my fingers through my hair, thinking of my parents tied up, tortured, or worse.
"Worse? What could be worse than that?!" I yell to no one.

A huge sigh of relief escapes my throat. "Then whose is it?" I ask, still pacing.

"Should we go ask my mage friend if she's seen the symbol before?" I ask, even though I have other things on my mind.

"If you really want to." I stood up, carefully folding the letter.

"Alright. Just follow me. She lives in the forest, but not too deep."
I set off, traveling through the forest. I come to a beat up shack, and knock lightly on the door. "Miku? It's me, Len. You here?" I call, lightly nudging the door with my foot.

"Miku?" I call again, and kick the door open. A few critters greet me; a raccoon, a bunny, and a sparrow. I look around the small little shack, and call again, "Miku!" Still no answer. "I don't think she's here...Maybe she's in the forest?" I say, still looking around.

I nearly jump out of my skin when I see the animals bolt out. "I could fly up and look for her."
[laughed so hard at that XD]

"Sure...I'll look upstairs..." I say, trying to hold in my laughter as I see her jump.
