Well the other problem is.. If I let Sterling go, I want his picture, and I don't want anyone else to suddenly leave me.. So it could take ages for him to go

I want Joey now too. I think I need mental help.

Rocket just said to me in her dreams "It's on like Donkey Kong" .. I think I love her

HAAAA!!!!!!!!!! Ya know, guys, I had not even thought about what personalities my villagers are!!! OMG, I may have to switch some stuff!!!

I had Dierdre forever. I need to look into who to switch for.

OOOhhhh, I could switch Phoebe for Blanche maybe.

I find it unnecessary to have one of each type. For one thing, they don't all get along. Once you've experienced at least one of each type, I think it's fine to curate your villagers to fit the village you want to build. Obviously, that's not something you could or should do in society (unless the type we curate are the good ones and the ones we wish to eradicate are all sociopaths; that's fine) but in a pixel game, there's no reason not to have a village that reflects the type you enjoy interacting with. It's one reason I don't keep lazy villagers. Their PWPs are ridiculously terrible and many of them lower villager satisfaction by existing. They also don't get on with the snooty villagers. And if it came down to it, I'd take Olivia over Drago any day. Just my 2?, but I see no reason to tell people the need one of each. I keep my favourite types in the majority and I don't have lazy characters at all. ^_^

The only reason I'd say you should have every personality type is for variety.
Three peppy villagers in one town? Ugh.
Three jocks? Two smug? Four uchi? Six lazy? Talk about repetitive.
Five normals? Seriously?

That's just what I think. You can have 2 of one, that's fine (9 personalities, 10 spaces, there will be an extra place..)

That's why my dreamie list is how it is. I have 1 of each personality - and 2 uchis. Just for variety.

You could argue that more villager types get on with Lazies than others do with Snooties.. But hey

And I like diversity in my town.. Like Zan said, it'd be so boring and repetitive to have three of the same personality in one town, or even more..

I mean, I would only consider having 2 Normals, Lazies, Smugs or Crankies in my town.. Two Jocks/Peppies would be frustrating.. Two Snooties would be too much rudeness and I can't even find a second Uchi who would be any good besides Ren?e, and she isn't dreamy worthy, so

Normal
Lazy
Peppy
Smug
Snooty
Cranky
Uchi
Jock

Right?

There is 8 :o .. What made you think there was 9?
Probably Zanessa's post up the page that says there are 9 personalities and 10 spots in a village.

I also find that over time, they react differently. Snooties start out intolerable snots, but then they warm up. Mine are even downright complimentary. I'm only keeping one; one is being held for another person. And while I'm hoping Pippy leaves soon, if I wound up keeping Dotty and Bunnie both, I wouldn't complain. But no, I wouldn't want more than one jock, but that's my preference. What annoys me might be entertaining to someone else. That's why I've never understood the rationale behind telling other people how they should construct their own villages. ^_~
