Inspired by the recent designs I've been seeing, I'm going to redo my island (for the third time)!

Tomorrow I'll post my current map, original map (untouched), and the map I would like. I spent time today redesigning the layout, moving in new villagers, and gathering enough bells so that I can complete all my house-moving and bridge/ramp demolishing in peace. :)

Day #2:

Current map! I won't do the untouched actually ... this is enough. I chose to scatter my villagers all over....but that makes tasks really exhausting. So, I will be changing that aspect up. Also--way too much water. Too difficult when I want to fish and I'm running all over my map to find spawns. I do like that I kept my home (bottom right) close enough to Nook's. I've collected enough bugs, fish, and fossils (finished those) that I don't need to sprint to Blather's multiple times a session, so having the museum more secluded in the future is what I'll be going for. All the empty space up top is where my flowers/hybrid patches reside, and fruit trees.

Map I'm heading toward:

This one will be a lot simpler! I want my house closer to the secret beach, so I'm moving it up north, but I know that I don't like having to go up ramps or across bridges to get there, so i'm just going to be on the ground. Will likely have a lot more flowers on the non-cliff areas. The museum and Able's are going to be in a 'forest'. Realized that the 'minimum' count for non fruit trees in ACNH is 22, not 17, so I'll probably have hardwood trees down by my Square, and in the villager neighborhood.

This map is missing a pond, so I might add one either in E6, or near my house. We'll see how this turns out.

Today I am getting rid of the river spanning C5 to C6, and going to put up some land so that I can move some houses (I definitely time travel now, lol).
