Room ideas?

Hmm. Well form starters, I usually try to add something to the middle of the room to make it seem full!
Like that snazzy piano! Baby grands are great room fillers. and if this idea does not please you, you can always add a two person love seat in front of the piano!

i think a loveseat or something would be a great idea, too. So someone can come relax and listen to your lovely music~

Maybe a bookshelf or two for sophistication? And you can add a cd player shelf thing and an amp, maybe. For those rocker type people.

Maybe you could put the Cello and music stand in the middle of the room, and add another table in the back corner and put a book? It could be like a book full of sheet music/excerpts, etc.

I would say if you're stuck on what to do in the room maybe go look at dream towns.
When I get stuck I usually go look at dreams for inspiration.

You could always add a few more instruments. I have a music room in my house, but it looks more like a rock concert. I have a row of guitars and microphones and spotlights on the walls. I think another instrument next to a chair and sheet music stand would look good.

[sub]you could put in some more instruments, and place some one-person seats around the room as if it was a mini concert hall. either that, or two-person benches, and arrange them like pews. if you're gonna do that, you should move the piano so that it is facing either the south or north portions of the room, since that is how people play in concerts.

you should also put maybe a seat or bench in front of the piano so it looks like you are playing it!

also, you could place some candles or coloured lamps and change the wallpaper to a darker one for mood lighting.

A chaise lounge would look quite nice in the middle, if there's room maybe put an end table next to it with a fruit basket maybe? That's what I'd do
