Maybe the birds could help us scout this place out? I think. I start to whistle a simple tune, just trilling one long note. Nothing even stirs. "Huh, that's strange... aren't there any birds around here?" I wonder aloud.

"Oh that's good" I turn around and go lean on a tree, I'm happier observing people anyway I'm still slightly shocked at how I managed to talk to that girl. I pull out my pen knife and start flicking all the tools out but it slips from my hand and flies straight into my foot. I stare at it for a while then pick it up. That's interesting and I drop it onto my foot again with the same result, very interesting
