{roleplay!} goodbye song ~ the demon dreamstate {private}

"I prefer English, yes. Oh, and my name is Lola." She says to Toshiko. Lola stands up. Just then, a pack of demons look over at them, and start to fly over. "Not again!" She shouts in annoyance. Working up some power, she distracts the demons with an illusion of a person in the distance. The person shouts and waves their hands in the air. The demons look away and fly over to the illusion.
Lola starts to feel dizzy, using so much of her power was exhausting. She turns to Toshiko and Reimu and says, "We need to go. Now. Do you need a bag or something, Toshiko?"

She noticed that Lola was talking to her, implying she had to fly again.
"I..can fly...no more............" she said before collapsing to the ground.

Ellie cracked one eye open and glanced at her clock. "10...?" she mumbled, almost incoherent due to sleepiness. "Dad should've woken me by now..." she rolled over and fell out of bed, landing with a thunk. "Ugh... What a good start to the day..." scrambling upwards, she stumbled down the stairs, only to find the kitchen deserted. Breakfast sat uneaten on the table, almost like he'd just vanished into thin air.

One of the window had been left open, the breeze sending chills down her spine. "Weird... What's going on here?" She walked across the kitchen to close the open window, only to be stopped in her tracks by the sight before her. Black creatures that wouldn't have look out of place in a fairy tale swooped across the sky, carrying what looked like sleeping humans in their talons. "Dad..."

After a minute of running and searching the house, she came to the conclusion that her dad wasn't there. She was all alone. "What am I meant to do...?"

"Hey Toshiko, can you help me carry her to that shop? We can rest and figure out what's going on in there."

Holding Reimu's legs, they carried her quickly to the store, evading any demons. "So, how are you awake? And do you have a power too?" Lola asks Toshiko. She's confused and wondering what the hell is going on to her world.

Toshiko made a face. "I literally, do not know what's happening. And yes. I have a power." She gently lowered Reimu down. "Although it's not very useful in battle - I can sense feelings, emotions. But in most circumstances, I only get a small glimpse."
