"I'll be right back, showtime." I get up and go to my house, its a little quaint cottage that I've grown attached to. I turn the lights on, "Wheres that basket..here it is, showtime!" I grab a spice-brown basket and turn my house light off. The cherry tree next to my house looks freshly unpicked, and I pick three carefully and put it in my basket.

"I'm back, showtime!" Heaving a basket of cherries, I put them down on the colorful picnic blanket. "I've gotten some cherries, is that okay, showtime?"

"Of course! What take any sandwich you want." I say, gesturing at my basket.

 

[PockiPops]

"Thank you," I smile, taking the sandwich. "Hi Syd, hi Vivian!" I take a bite before laying down on the damp grass. "What do you all think of the new mayor?"

 

[Beary]

"She's..different, that's for certain. But we need differences, because we are all different, right?" I grin, showing sharp teeth.

 

[Syd]

I take a sandwich, "I don't like her."

 

[PockiPops]

"Mmm..." I nod. "I wonder what differences she'll make to the town."
Hearing Syd, I whip round. "What? Why not?"

"To each her own, as I say. Who cares what others think of her?" I say airily, and much on my sandwich.

I walk out of my house. I decide to go to the coffee place for a little wake-me-up. I pass some of the other residents as I walk there.

"Humans are annoying. Have you ever been put in a tank by a human? Cause I have, shut up."

"I think she's nice, dreamy." I shrug, and pick an apple from a tree.

I decide to pop I and see how some of the other villagers are doing. "Hey, um, what's going on?"

"She looks fine to me!" I say, and skip around the blanket, singing our town tune.
"Oh, hi Mick! We're having a picnic, want to join?"

"Sure, possibly." I sit down on the blanket. "Is there any ham and cheese sandwiches left?"

"Hi Mick." I say, biting into the apple.

"Yep, I think so!" I pull one out, and hand it to him. "What do you think of the mayor?"

"Shes alright.." I murmur to myself, chomping into a juicy cherry. "Woah, is this a perfect cherry? This is delicious! Too bad I ate it..showtime.." I shrug to myself. "Hello, Mick." I smile.
