I like Teddy. He was in my gamecube and is in my NL town.
Rod is in my harvest town and is stuck there forever. The mayor from my main town has visit him.

Teddy's in my town of Primrose (DA in sig if you want to visit him) and I love him so so much. I think he fits the jock personality pretty well too, I love imagining a big strong bear lifting weights and going on jogs and protecting our town c:
But honestly Rod is adorable too. Along with Teddy, he's also in my top 5 favorite jocks. He looks like a super cute little pirate with his bandana o:

I personally like Teddy better. I had him in lots of Wild World towns and he's so cutee ( ? ▽ ` )ﾉ Who doesn't love a giant teddy bear?

I had rod in my old town. He was a random move in, but I warmed up to him a little. I even decided to give him a t-shirt to wear.
If you don't go with Rod then I'd suggest a different Jock.

I love the cute little cubs, but I'm not a fan of the bears. They look awkward to me. I voted for Rod. I had him in a WW town, and he was cool.
