Rocks…disappeared?! I only have 1 rock now

Hey guys! So I’m making a rock garden and tried the mannequin trick for blocking spaces. I then broke all 6 rocks.

The next day there was one rock that spawned in my rock garden. But every other rock is missing. I looked high and low around my island and couldn’t find a single other rock. There was even an area I forgot about with wide open space and the rocks didn’t spawn there. wtf? does anyone else have or had this issue and knows how to fix it.

Btw, the rocks are on an island split between 2 grids. There is no building or cliff near the rock island, and the spots I want the rocks to go are perfectly fine

Only one rock spawns per day, wait/travel to tomorrow

If you break all your rocks they're going to spawn back in one per day.

Haha. I recently broke all my rocks during an overhaul of my island, and I didn't realize they returned at one per day either. Just assumed that all of them would respawn the next day. Good to know.

if there aren't very many open spaces in your town the rocks may just take longer to spawn. that's how it was when I was trying to move all my rocks around in my town.
