My favorite villager, Kyle just moved away today and I didn't know...I am really discouraged to play now cause he's gone...Any of your favs move? How did you cope? right now I don't know if I should cycle to get him back but it woudl take time and I don't have that

My villager Cookie moved away the other day, I know how you feel I'm gonna buy a second copy (digital one) instead of cycling (I love all my villagers, I can't bear to move them out). Not just so I can have cookie again, but because I genuinely wanted a second town. I have two of her pictures and I read the message on them often, just so I can get my dose of Cookie now and then

I had Freya move out a while back, which I was very upset about; I decided I would slowly go through the 16 villager cycle, and just got the 16th one out yesterday. It's not as bad as you might think. In that time, I found several high tier villagers that I gave/sold to others and even managed to obtain one of my dreamies via random move-in. I'd recommend giving it a try...just make sure you don't lose any other dreamies.

I'm so sorry about Kyle, I know how it feels to get discouraged when one of your favourite villagers move away. Refering to the previous comment, it probably is best to buy a second copy, or have a friend try to collect him from the void. So if you do decide to cycle you can take your time with it without having it have any major effects on your town. I either suggest that, or you try to find somebody to replace him with, I know it probably won't be the same but you can atleast try to find somebody that you might love a little more. Or to just fill the void. Tbh, I don't cope very well with my villagers moving out I'll usually just delete the town, but if that really isn't an option for you I suggest trying the 16 villager cycle. It's hard but if he really is one of your favourites i'll be worth it. Hang in there. c:

When Walker lived in my town, he was one of my favorites. I love lazies, and he was just so cute. I always caught the bugs and fish he asked me to, got him snacks when he when he wanted, picked nice furniture for him, and sent him letters, and gifts, but when I didn't play for a week, he moved without any warning (I'm not sure I even got a letter). It was really upsetting at the time but since then, I've found other villagers I like way more, and I don't want Walker in my town anymore :3 Let other villagers you like move in, see if you like them better, and if not, keep cycling until you can get Kyle back. You might just be surprised.

I know exactly how you feel. My friend took one of my game cards yesterday and she cycled Kyle out. I originally had him in my main town but I lost him in a TT accident when I wasn't really being that careful. I then bought him on the forums and was holding him in my second town until I had completed my villager cycle.

My friend stole one of my games without telling me to use for this stupid glitch she does and while she was doing so, she cycled him out. All the devastation I had the first time I lost him came right back. I had worked so hard to get him, and just like that he was gone.

The same friend had been playing on my main town for island tours while I was doing some landscaping for her on her town. While she was playing she TTed a few days ahead and accidently cycled Diana into boxes. I managed to save her and transfer her to my second town, but now I have to do ANOTHER villager cycle.

That sounds like a bad friend, how rude! I would never do that to somebody, that's so insensitive! And then taking one of your game without your knowledge or permission, I'd be damned if someone did that to me D:<

Sorry about Kyle. I lost Muffy to a bridge. It was her or no bridge in the middle of town.
I TTed pass her moving date so I wouldn't change my mind. It hit me when the letter in the mailbox arrived. I felt horrible and put it in my saved mail. Her picture is still in my house and don't care about points been removed.

After the bridge went in I place the windmill where her house was. Placed some shrubs and flowers that she would have loved.
Each time I walk pass it I remember Miss Muffy.

I did just see Apollo on main street who I recently let go of to make room for another cranky, but now I'm regretting it a little. I wouldn't really call him a dreamie, but he does look awesome.

ONE OF MY DREAMIES, BILL, MOVED OUT WHILE I WAS AWAY. I don't know how it happened, it was less than 5 days since I last played but I guess he had the desire to move before then and I somehow missed it. I became too lax because I finally "finished" my town and set up a dreamcode. I'm beyond distraught because I've already cycled through 16 twice to move my dreamies to better positions and I couldn't imagine doing it again. Plus I don't want to move out any of my other dreamies to do so (since the 10th villager won't move out). I was able to get another jock that I love so I'm slowly making peace with it but I loved Bill so much. I was decorating his house with classic furniture and his exterior perfectly matched the surrounding. At least he gave me his photo as a parting gift but I'm still really disappointed. I wish we could restart to prevent them from moving out or that it took less than 16 for them to move back in OR that you could move out your 10th villager. I had to delete one of my characters as well to plot reset so that's another huge blow. At least I'll always have my dreamtown. I wish I could visit it but apparently you can't visit you own. I'll have to use someone else's game to see my lil pal.

I'm sorry for your loss. Hopefully Kyle is in a better town now, forever wandering the oddly patterned fields aimlessly.

It always seems to be the one you like the most who decides to move away doesn't it? *shrug*

I hadn't played for the whole of winter and when I came back I found out that Julian had moved out and became super discouraged about playing the game and I didn't play for a while after that but I got over it with time and I guess I didn't want to risk losing anyone else.
