Anyone heard of the new MMO game coming out, Rift? It's like World Of Warcraft but there are a lot more classes...
I haven't seen much of the scenery but the few clips seem nice. A few things I noticed is that Hunters (now Beast tamers) can not pick what pet they want, they get a "spirit beast" which is a pretty neat looking cat. And druids can not transform into animals, they are able to summon pets like a Warlock in WoW but these pets are more nature based. There is a bard calling which seems neat (a music playing class), a chloromancer (someone does damage and healing with plants) and a stormcaller.
After reading about a few of the callings I've noticed that they seem dependent on each other, unlike WoW where you could easily solo. For example, the Bard and Chloromancer pretty much NEED a ally with them. And people under the Warrior and Rogue class will not preform at their best without the two.
