When you ride an elevator, do you prefer to ride one with window in the back or do you like riding an elevator with no windows at all?

Although the majority of the elevators I ride had no windows, I prefer riding elevators with windows. I like watching the outside as we go up or down to see the difference. Windowless elevators don't make me feel claustrophobic, but I like windowed elevators.

I don't like elevators, and window or no window doesn't bother me at all. However whenever there is a brief pause before the doors open I always freak out in my head because I think that they are never going to open. Like the library in the city's elevator has a massive pause before the doors open to let you out and even though I know it's going to happen it gets me EVERY FRICKING TIME

i love windowed elevators too! looking at the outer view is exciting. especially when you can't see no visible structure, or parts of the building... so it seems like the elevator is unsupported. that makes it more fun.

I don't really like to use elevators because I hate that drop sensation you feel when you stop, but I guess the window ones are cool.

Generally speaking I love the windows but if it goes super high (40+ stories) then I'll probably get uncomfortable or antsy! I don't really have a fear of heights necessarily, it's more a fear of machinery breaking and me plummeting to my death

I'm absolutely terrified of elevators and windows only make them worse. I'm also terrified of heights, so seeing outside doesn't really help anything.

Windows. Elevators are creepy and I'd rather take the stairs if I'm in public area.

However I do love these really old elevators with this fence/door thing.

I don't really care. I'd prefer not to ride on an elevator in general. If it doesn't go very high, I'm fine with it. I'd never ride the elevator to go up to the Skydeck even though there aren't any windows because it's just too high up.

Lifts with glass walls are preferred for me, since I feel I'd freak out less if it got stuck. Glass floor rooms/lifts are a no-no though for me. I was okay with them when I was younger, and scared the life out of my Mum when I performed a handstand on the glass floor at the top of Blackpool tower.

I think there are some old apartment buildings still, however I think they are getting more and more replaced because safety and they are tiny. I do remember some friends of ours having one of these back when they lived in an apartment in town

I don't really like elevators because it can feel claustrophobic, so having a window is sometimes better because it feels more spacious. I'm not too fussed by them, anyways.

I'm so bad with heights, even going on step ladder makes me rawr Q_Q
I hate elevators, I will walk up the stairs if I have too, I usually go to floor 6 before I get tired an duse an elevator but it really causes me to freak out

I avoid windowed elevators entirely because of this.

Windowless aren't as bad since I obviously can't look out at how high I am, though they come with their own problems such as feeling more cramped or smelling 'funny'.

Overall I just tend to use the stairs. They also tend to be quicker elevators, especially escalators where tons of people are on them and you have to wait forever since you can't just walk up them (as they're packed with people 'enjoying the ride')

I like elevators with windows. Riding the elevator up the CN Tower is fun because the bottom of the elevator is glass, too.
