Rice Grasshopper?

Alfonso wants a rice grasshopper, but I looked it up and it says they only appear August-October, and it's November now so what do I do and why did he ask for an out-of-season bug?

I got one in November! Plus villagers can't ask for bugs or fish that aren't 'in season' It's quite hard to tell the difference between a Rice Grasshopper and the other ground bugs, so I'd just catch everything (Or don't bother!)

That wouldn't work since the game would consider it another day and the request would no longer be valid. But an option might be to ask a cycler if they can change their game date to a month where the rice grasshopper can be found and then catch it in their town. ^_^

The Rice Grasshopper can be caught in November. The best time was August to October.
I had a request for one in November a couple of times.

The villagers can request things that are out of season. Sydney asked for a Spring Butterfly that can't be found on the island.
It was one day before the new month. I dropped by my spare town and found one for her. They can also ask for items that just stopped showing up. Right after 5pm I've got request for a bug or fish that just ended for the day.
