Hi, guys. I'm trying to complete my bug and fish encyclopedias and there are a bunch from fall that I need to catch since I never played AC:NL at that time.

If I go back in time to like, October, would it count as however many months or would my villagers only think that it's been a day? Also, anyone know what's the best month to catch the fall bugs/fish that I'll need?

Sorry if this is a really dumb question.

If you travel backwards in time (for any amount of time) it counts as one day, so you don't have to worry about villagers moving away if you've been careful about it.

For your second question, depends on which bugs/fish you need. You can have a look here to look up individual bugs and fish and then you can figure out which month is best.

Hope this helps. :)

If you go back in time, it counts as only one day so it's just like playing tomorrow. When you return back to present, though, it'll count as months going by as normal. Make sure that you deny someone's request to move before setting the date back to normal (this will keep villagers from moving) or that you play day by day, being careful to talk to your villagers and keep them from moving.

Also make sure you change the year. I've mess that up a couple of time when I didn't pay attention. Not a big problem because it was in a town that I don't worry about villagers taking off.

Here is another good guide. Tells you when, where, dates and weather.

Got 3 golden nets and 11 golden fishing rods using it.
