Revolving Dressing Room

Anyone else wish we could buy multiple things at once besides different types of articles of clothing? I feel like I get whiplash going in and out just to get a shirt that I like in different colors.

Also kind of wish there was a prompt to tell you if you already bought the item in the past. I can’t keep track of everything I’ve ever bought without having to go look at my catalog.

Oh and when items I don’t want to wear are shipped to my storage, it’s kind of a pain having for run to my house to get it out of my storage. I sometimes buy clothes that arent for me. I know I could just wear them and then just remove them but kind of wish I didn’t have to and there was an option to send to storage or put into my inventory.

Just little pet peeves about Ables. Any others you have?

I wish the same thing because then I end up with like 4 of the same sailor dresses in my inventory.... ;~; Also, it's SO ANNOYING to me that you literally have to buy ONE ITEM AT A TIME. I just want to do a bulk buy and then put everything into my inventory.

I've been wanting a "add to bag" option. I get that AC has always been slower and more conversational but it's crazy inefficient when there are like 8 colors of an item, or like multiple tops/shoes/etc you want to buy in one go.

I do! My friend and I have a system! I buy all the colors of the stuff I want and don't have and she does the same. We lay them out on our island or if it's only a couple of sets the other wants to catalog, we take it with us so they can catalog it. With both spend less time in the dressing room and we catalog more stuff for less,

That's a great idea! That way you don’t have to guess as much about whether you are missing something or not.

i agree with you - i definitely wish we could buy multiple items at once but my main pet peeve is the item being shipped to storage. it’s not a big deal if it’s an item i want to keep but don’t presently want to wear but if i’m purchasing it for a trade or just to add it to my catalog, it’s a bit annoying lol

It’s the same at the airport when I go island hopping! My entire inventory is NMTs so why does Orville point it out like I’m going to be surprised that I have a ticket, AND THEN ACT LIKE HE DIDNT SEE ME TAKEOFF AND COME BACK WITHIN 3 MINUTES.

Oh goodness yes! I am constantly playing mental olympics with myself over whether or not I bought an article of clothing in one color just a moment before.

Some of these characters are so wordy! I feel the same about Orville, Wisp, Blathers, Gulliver, and Wilbur! It’s the same long-winded dialogue.

It’s a pain shopping. Especially with all the cute summer clothes. I often forget what colors I’ve bought and I forget to check them off on my app so I end up with duplicates. I’ve started just wearing the outfit so I can see what color I bought last.( I go left to right) because as soon a I re enter the changing room I forget what I just purchased

I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgets what they've bought in between trips into the changing room! I end up with so many multiples. I also have about three of the same bag because Kicks has so few different things and I don't see him often enough to remember what I bought last time

Ive been trying to keep track of my catalog using the app but there are like thousands of items so by the time I finish inputting them all, I’ll already have multiples of everything lol.

Yes!! I try to buy every colour of a clothing item that I like and it takes 5 minutes. It's annoying, and I hope a shopping basket feature is added in the future... This has deterred me from getting clothing items that I wouldn't wear but would like to keep in my catalogue.

I couldn't believe it when I realised we had to return to the airport and revisit the same dialogue again to try another mystery island.

Just have an option to ask Wilbur to try a different island!

Yeah it sucks that they didn't put an add to cart option for multiples I also get annoyed with sending the clothes to storage. I'll always forget they do this and go to talk to a villager to give them a shirt I bought, only to let them down by saying I don't actually have a present :'D

Exactly! I found it funny at first when Id land on an island run forward 10 steps, see a villager I don’t want, U-turn to leave and Wilbur starts questioning me about not leaving things behind. Like??? We’ve been here all of 5 seconds JUST TAKE ME HOME.

yeah i'm trying to fill my catalog with almost every color variation of pretty much every item (i don't buy everything at the moment because i'm lazy and don't think i will ever want to use all the items, so i skip some) and it's super annoying to have to go use the dressing room ten times every day to catalog everything. i also wish there was an option to get the items in your inventory so i could sell them directly after purchasing them if i don't want to keep them, instead of having all of these ugly clothing items clog up my storage at my house.

that being said, the nook shopping app is my savior, even though it is annoying to check it for what items i already have cataloged, it is way worse to have to go to the resident center.

I put a clothes closet right outside the door of Ables just so I can quickly see if I have a specific color or clothing item already lol still end up with dupes though cuz I somehow instantly forget what I just bought...

The clothes closet is such a good idea. I just buy stuff in order and wear it out so I know what I bought last.
