Reviewing towns!

If you could review my town is be very grateful! It's not even close to being finished but I'd appreciate any feedback! c:

Paths - I like your path at the plaza, but what are the "holes" for? There is like two holes, but no presents or nothing.. Do you have some plan for them? The grass path isn't really that pretty in my opinion, the grass is too dark to blend in with the regular grass.. So perhaps find some grass path with more lighter grass or remove them?
You have some places with like a huge square of the stone path. Like in front of recycle. Do you plan on placing something around it or? Cause it looks a bit weird, in my opinion.

Trees - I love all the bamboo! It works great! You could try and plant some cedar saplings among the bamboo? I think it would look great!

Flowers - Your flowers seems to be placed at random right now, except around villagers' houses. I guess that you will sort them and place them more neatly when you get so far?

PWP's - I really like the hot spring PWP right under the plaza! I really like your benches, the water well, police station and campsite. They are placed in very good spots that makes them part of the town and not some thing in the middle of it all. Your fountain in front of the caf? is just amazing.

In general - You have a town, with a lovely map and greatly placed villager houses! I love the village-ish feel you get on the southern half of your town! And there is a lot of space, just waiting to be filled with PWP's, flowers, bushes and other great things. You can create a park, a forest, a zen area or something else! I do see a theme taking form and even though your town is a work in progress, it seems great. The only thing I really can comment on will be the grass paths.. Other than that - just keep up the good work! I'd love to visit your town again when you have worked a bit more on it

Paths: They are confusing at the plaza. There are so many different kinds and I don't know which one to follow. Perhaps you could narrow it down a bit? I really like the "main" path that goes around town! I've had it myself and it's super cute! The area around Kitty's house is great - especially the paths! I like it!
Trees: I love the lemon trees near the recycle shop! It looks really cute
Flowers: I like the area around Aimee's house. I think that, with a lot of work, it could become really pretty! It needs some hybrids and perhaps some more PWP's in the area, but the placement is good And I love the peach trees nearby! The pink roses are a great idea and I'd love to see it when you've gotten more hybrids
PWP's: I like the zen-ish area! And the fountains, they look great I really love the streetlights together with the paths in front of your town hall. It simply looks amazing! The tower next to the fountain, under the townhall - if I were you, I would remove it.. It doesn't really fit in

In general: It's obvious that your town is a work in progress. It does, however, seem like you've got a plan for your future town! The paths line up a town, that is easy to get around it, but still leaves a lot of space to future projects and flowers. It will take a lot of work, a lot of hybrids, trees, bushes and PWP's, but it will be amazing when you get it done!

You have an area on the west side with no houses - you could use that for some park-ish area with benches, archs, bushes and trees? That's what I would do. It's also a challenge to make it work since it's not a big area, but a long area (if you know what I mean?) So you would have to be creative

The area with the zen bell could be a whole zen area of your town. Line it up with bushes and bamboo and make a zen garden! You do have some space under the plaza that allows you to do so

I really like nice transitions in towns. Something that makes it clear that you are now entering an area with a different theme or something. Like if you enter the part of the town were all the villagers are or a part with a park. You can use bushes, trees, paths and flowers for that

I would also make the south-eastern corner into a village-thing. Surround the villagers' houses with flowers, make them small gardens and put up PWP's that fits the whole "village" look. It looks awesome!

I hope you can use my review for something! I would happily review your town again, when you have updated it It looks like a town that is going to be really awesome

Paths: I don't really like the paths at the plaza. It seems so massive that it's just a big, red square. When I finally found the path on the left side, it was 5 squares wide. It's a lot. But yeah, that might just be my opinion I would also really like the path to go all the way around town, also to the villagers houses. So connect everything and I would like the path to be like 2 max 3 squares wide

Flowers: Your flowers seems to be all over the place. Except the roses and the northern part of your town. Are you working on that? I do really like the red and pink roses Perhaps you could add some white! It would look awesome!

Trees: There are a lot of trees and they don't seem to be in any order. Perhaps you should make some patterns with the trees? Use them to line up paths or create a forest?

PWP's: Your PWP's seems to be a bit random placed. You have a flower clock at the western part of the southern island that has great opportunities for a park-themed area or just a pretty area! The cube and streetlight in front of the caf? seems a bit weird? If I were you, I would get an idea of what kind of town you want. What kind of PWP's. Perhaps split the town up in areas with different themes. It would make look better, instead of all the different PWP's mixed together

In general: Your town seems confusing and looks like a work in progress. It needs some kind of theme, some kind of thing that ensures that all the parts of your town makes sense. I would start out with the paths, make a path around your whole town and don't leave out any area. After that, you can place flowers, bushes and trees. I would start with the trees, then bushes and flowers in the end. You can also think about PWP's and the placement of the PWP's you'd like

Yeah, it is most definitely a WIP. I'm slowly working on bringing the paths together, planting trees in better areas, and things like that. It's a slow process when you don't TT and don't really shop in other towns

Thanks again for your continued feedback! I'm slowly implementing it I had a friend who visited tonight compliment me a lot on my town and I think that is partially due to your thoughtful feedback!

Anyway, as you asked, I visited your town again. I think you made a lot of lovely improvements! These are just mostly little things...
I'd love to see some flowers or bushes in-between the two pear trees immediately below your train station instead of a bare patch there.
Merry needs more flowers or bushes or trees or something
do you have enough room in your qr storage to implement the 1-space path merci for the set you're using? I'm assuming there is one…? Ie, a 1 space path that has roses on both sides of the 1 space. Might be a pretty edition in areas like your western fountain with flowers inside instead of the blank space. I like the combination of pink white and purple(blue?) in this western fountain area. I wonder if it might be nice to remove the bush directly south of the most northern flower arch entering the sakura-bordered yellow bench area so that you can walk straight through from the flower arch into the bench area? Dunno!
I really like the pink and white lilies down from there where the houses start. lovely.
at the southern most tip of the western peninsula, what if you had a more structured garden below your path? Ie, perhaps a border of bushes filled with flowers? could even just be 3 bushes in the corner of the path.
hammock - more flowers on the northern side bordering the river! FLOWERSSSSS.
more flowers too near the streetlamp and sakura by the second bridge. I think that streetlamp looks very pretty there, btw. directly to the east of that there is a grove of durian, orange and apple, I"d be tempted to plant another row of trees directly below to fill it in.

to the south of your main house there is a grove of trees, directly to the east of the beach entrance… you could use this for a PWP! or an organized garden if you wanted! I think the 4 bushes with pink and white roses to the east of this is very lovely. I also like the 5 pink and white bushes below retail. lovely.

Marshal needs a bunch of white lilies all around his house haha. maybe one tree?

the blue pansies all around your central-western fountain are lovely as are the whit sand gold roses around your clock flower.
overall I think how you changed the flowers to be more limited in certain areas is more beautiful and less cacophonous


… and if you ever want to get rid of Flurry… XD you can send that adorable fluff ball my way.

Path: I like your path a the plaza and also the one leading around town. I don’t really get the grassy path, but I never do haha! The path is creating a nice route through your town! It’s good.

Trees: Your trees seems to be a bit random at the moment, but it’s not really a problem There aren’t too many and aren’t too little
It would be awesome if you sorted them somehow. At least, that is what I would do!

Flowers: It seems like you have sorted your flowers. There aren’t that many, but I guess that you will work on that. Some hybrids or gardens, either sorted in colors (all whites together) or species (all roses together). There is a lot of space, so you have many possibilities.

PWP’s: You don’t really have that many. I spotted a streetlight and the caf?(which is nicely placed!) What kind of PWP’s are you waiting for? It would be nice to know which way you are going with your town!

In general: You have an awesome layout! You have great possibilities with all the space, the nicely placed houses and caf?. I think you could do a village-themed area near Lucky, Chief, Lolly and Lucy’s houses. It would look amazing! Place a water pump or some benches.
You could try to connect the houses more to the path, so they lead right up to each house

Path: Your path is lined up with flowers - that?s unusual! Aren?t you afraid that you will run them over? I would at least make the path 2 squares wider But they look pretty and they are really simple and nice! It's not confusing or misleading

Trees: There aren?t that many? Is that on purpose? Are you planning anything? The perfect cherry trees are a bit confusing at the plaza. I didn?t really know where to go.. It would really suit your town to get some more trees, it seems so bare.

Flowers: You only have blue violets and purple tulips - It?s an interesting idea but I would really love to see some more colors in your town!

PWP?s: I like your PWP?s Especially the two totem poles and the log bench!

In general: Your town is really unusual - which is great! But it is also kind of empty. You said you have to place minor PWP?s, add some trees and more flowers. But what about all the empty spaces?
I love when you walk across one of the bridges and there is two totem poles PWP?s and a log bench - it looks amazing! But you could expand that area, perhaps add a bonfire or some other PWP?s.
In my opinion, your town is way to empty. It might help with the flowers you mentioned, but I think there should be some more PWP?s Your town is not like all others, it?s really unique and special. It?s interesting! What is the idea behind your town? What made you come up with the idea of a town like that? I would, personally, never have come up with something like that.
