Has anyone else returned to New Horizons by starting a new island on the switch 2 (or on their old switch)? I know there is already a thread asking if you will -- but those who have what has your experience been like?
It is so surreal to play the beginning of the game again! Livin' in a tent, surrounding Blathers' with fish and bugs, wondering what lies over the river and up the cliffs! It's such fun
And it's such fun to be starting it with all of the updates in place, instead of how it was in 2020. It'll be interesting to see how all of it plays out!
I've been playing a lot of New Leaf lately, so jumping back into New Horizons feels very similar to how it did in 2020. I adore, adore, New Leaf -- but New Horizons is wonderful too. There are pros and cons to both games, and if you play New Horizons slowly, it still feels like an Animal Crossing game to me, just as New Leaf does.
also -- I have a yellow airport. It's the little things in life. And a yellow airport is one of those little things
So -- what has your experience been? What are your thoughts? What did you name your new island? Who are your starter villagers? All the things!
