I've been serial resetting on and off for over a year now and was gona wait till January for a thread like this to pop up but I'll restart with you guys! I didn't get anything for the town which was a shame but expected (I'd only played in it two days). I liked the layout but the camp area was right beside my house so yeah. Fingers crossed I'll stick to this town! My Fc is 2466-1712-2989

I was thinking about reset, but my town fits perfect with the new Update. Maybe I use the new Villagers as possible replacement if someone left.

I just appraised my main town (I do not like where the RV park is) and I got a value of 912,400 M roughly (almost 1 billion), I would choose to keep my catalog (it was 99% before the update) since the offer was only 33,3000. If I restart, I would want to transfer non-orderables over to my cycling town, which I sure would lower the buyout amount, but seeing how much I would get I am not worried about that.

However, I do not see anything wrong with TT, and to be honest, it helps to pass the time of my day.

I also have a blank cartridge, so I could also just start over Mystic on the new one and transfer bells and items as I go. I would also be happy to help out with bells.

What do you all think? Should I start over my original main town, or do it on my blank cartridge?

Also broke but need someone to hold a few items from the town I restarted and realize I hate where my house is.

I restarted my town yesterday too. The RV campground was right next to Retail (to the point where the icons were pretty much overlapping) which was too irksome. I also lost all my bells since I didn't like any of the initial maps. Oh well, the adventure begins completely anew!

I have two old towns that I don't want to start over, but I just bought a new game cartridge and started my town too! It's called Gumdrop (Kingdom) and my mayor/princess is named Jellybee. I am SO EXCITED. The new update is a dream come true *_*

Just restarted my digital town. I thought my town was developed enough but Nook didn't even give me an offer.

Haven't found a map I like. My very first NL town had Apples. I'd love Apples or cherries.
Anyone else getting more rocks when resetting after the update? Or does Nook want to hurt me?

I found a map that I actually quite like and one of my dreamies Flora is in town!!!
But not enough ponds... all the buildings and the camp site are in the wrong place... + it's got peaches again and my main town already has peaches.

Should I keep resetting??

I'm so much happier after I resetted my town (I got a villager that is a dreamie for many, and I can see why now), and I'm glad I went with the 100 installments so I'll always have a money reserve. (I play for a bit everyday so 100 days isn't bad for me.)
