I have two copies of this game, both of which are a total mess right now. I haven't played in ages, and while watching the direct today I realized that I REALLY missed this game. I want to start over from the beginning, completely legit. I'll be selling my old town and playing on my new one with no plot resetting or TT'ing. if you're starting over as well and want to play with friends, I'd love to spend time with you! I was thinking about reset, but my town fits perfect with the new Update. Maybe I use the new Villagers as possible replacement if someone left.

- Are unlocked PWP locked again?
- Is your catalog also reset?
- Is the museum and/or your collection catalog gone as well?
- Are upgraded/unlocked buildings in main street gone?

everything is gone. but i think with the update you can keep your catalog.

On a side note I wasn't able to sell my town, so I'm literally broke right now. there's unfortunately not much to do in my town, but visitors are always welcome still! I'm hoping to have the island up in a few days so I can go with friends :3

I just appraised my main town (I do not like where the RV park is) and I got a value of 912,400 M roughly (almost 1 billion), I would choose to keep my catalog (it was 99% before the update) since the offer was only 33,3000. If I restart, I would want to transfer non-orderables over to my cycling town, which I sure would lower the buyout amount, but seeing how much I would get I am not worried about that.

However, I do not see anything wrong with TT, and to be honest, it helps to pass the time of my day.

I also have a blank cartridge, so I could also just start over Mystic on the new one and transfer bells and items as I go. I would also be happy to help out with bells.

What do you all think? Should I start over my original main town, or do it on my blank cartridge?

You make a good point. I will start a new Mystic. Once I get that going, I will transfer a bunch of bells over and lay them around town, and those of you that do not have bells can come over and get some. I am going to put my other towns on sleep, except my cycling town, it may come in handy.

How long do you need them held? If it is just a day or two, I can hold them in Majestic, as I am not cycling villagers for now.
