Welcome!
I bought Resident Evil Darklight Chronicles and have played it for 2 days (ish) and i've completed easy (lol) so heres my general impression:
Good Points:
The Graphics are Truly amazing, the movie ones make your eyes pop and even in-game graphics are brillant! Theres a bit near the middle/end where you come out of a Dark and dingy corridor onto a dam with a view, i lost my breath in amazment!
The Gameplay is brill, Theres so many hidden items thrown about in the levels you will end up playing for years to find them all! I have played through just once and found only a handfull, I also like this game for its 'Arcade shooter' Style, my favourate before this game was 'House of the Dead 2' with the shotguns. This beats it. Theres weapons glaore, Starting with the simple (but nasty) Pistol all the way to Rocket launchers. The boss battles are also classic with the 'Find the weakspot' element thrown in.
Now, if you live in england and read ONMs (Official Nintendo Magizine) Review they said the Aiming system was bad, i disagree, I found the Aiming system was near perfect, even my dad who has handled guns felt at ease with it (he usually complains about aiming on theese games so yea).
Also the 2-Player Co-Op play makes it even better! I just want to get out to get another controller because it makes the game so much more fun.

Problems with the game:
With EVERY game there are problems, and in Resident evil there are only a few,
Firstly the game can move to fast, meaning you miss pick-ups or thoose few zombies you were head-popping, This is the main reason that the hidden items become hard to find.
Another thing is a problem with aiming, its the classic 'SCREEN SHAKE' which happens when a boss/large explosion/knock back or something similer happens and the screen shakes wildly, This can be a problem during a few bosses and when your being attacked by zombies.
The only other problem i have is that you find certain places which become a nightmare to get past (like i'm stuck because i keep dying on the hidden chapter as your krauser) and you waste valuable ammo/healing items then end up going up against a boss or another set of zombies.

I love this game, It reminds me of being back in the arcade playing the FPV shooters. I recommend this for people who liked Time Crisis or House of the Dead. The problems in the game are kinda minor and you get used to them. Also with the ability to 'choose your path' and your character, the weapon changing and the graphics, the Pros REALLY outweigh the Cons.
I HIGHLY recommend this for people who play their Wii with buddys who are into this, its HOURS of fun, Head-popping brilliance!
I give it 92% out of 100

Playing for years? I stopped right there.

Some people can find everything in under a week.

if they stay up 24/7 and dont do potty breaks sure.
Theres over 100 hidden items in 3/4 difficultys and that would take ALOT longer than a week trust me

I lol'd at "potty breaks"

And that's not true, if you are skilled you can finish it in a good amount of time WITHOUT staying up 24/7 playing it.

Damn right I do, I have every single issue <3 (I still haven't forgiven them for the incredibly low Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days review though).

But nice review, I'll have to check it out, I'm a big fan of Arcade/On-Rails shooters.
